The Collins Chiropractic team is highly invested in the health and success of the Burien community. All of us live here in Burien. We work here, play here, make friends here and we know that we have a responsibility to keep our community strong. A big part of our city’s future depends on how healthy we are. For that reason, Collins Chiropractic is proud to be a member of Burien Wellness, a group of healthcare providers in the community who are committed to providing our residents with outstanding care to better the health of our community. We participate each year in the Burien Wellness Fair and this year Dr. Collins was pleased to be the keynote speaker at this event.
Our office provides free educational seminars not just for our patients, but for all members of the community to learn valuable preventative care information in topics ranging from nutrition and exercise to spinal care and emotional health. We make education such a huge priority in our office because we know that our patients and our community want to be well…they just need the tools to get there! We are avid readers and do the research to know what it takes to be an individual with an overall healthy lifestyle and it is our great joy to pass on that knowledge.
We love goal-setting. We live it in our personal lives and we are constantly striving toward improvement. For this reason we sponsor the Strawberry Festival 5K each year so that Burien residents can set a fitness goal and have a fun, local opportunity to test their fitness level. Whether your goal is to achieve your personal best time, train and assess your fitness level for longer races, or to see if you and your friends can walk 3.1 miles, we applaud you! We are happy to provide you with a fun, stress-free race where you can set and achieve a personal goal. All proceeds from this event go to Whitewater Aquatics, a local organization that provides aquatic opportunities for kids. We love to see kids being active and increasing their overall level of health while having fun.
Dr. Collins is an active member of the Burien/White Center Rotary. His wife, Erin, is a member of the Exchange Club of Highline and serves on the board of directors for Discover Burien. They are excited to be part of the Burien community and to watch it grow.
